My name is Gabriel Moniz Carvalho, but some people call me just Moniz. I'm a Brazilian creative with a background in art direction & design. Currently working as Senior Creative | Art Director at Nubank.

Well, what else can I say about myself? I was born (October 1999) and raised in São Luís - Maranhão, located in the Northeast of Brazil, but since 2019 I'm living and working in São Paulo capital, a place almost 3k kilometers from my hometown.

Speaking of hometown, that's where I started my career almost 8 years ago, and since then I've been lucky enough to do cool stuffs with amazing people at ad agencies like AlmapBBDO, Africa Creative DDB, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Energy BBDO, Phocus and currently at the creative hub of Nubank. 

During this time I was also lucky enough to have some works recognized in some awards, including in 2021 when I won Gold at the Cannes Young Lions Live Award, and in 2019 when I was selected by VOZES30 | NGO Papel & Caneta as one of the 30 voices who fought to change the communication industry.

As you can see, I'm terrible talking about myself, but I love listening and telling stories, talking about music, sports, cinema, games, anime, mangas, streams, youtube contents, all that nerdy stuff you should know, as well as loving any type of entertainment, including the weird things and also all kinds of content that comes from Brazilian culture, I love it, seriously. I'm also always looking to learn new things, so if you have any recommendations for courses or something like that, pls tell me.
