Hey! My name is Gabriel Moniz, but some people call me just Moniz. I'm a Brazilian creative with a background in art direction & design. Currently working as Art Director at Energy BBDO.
I was born (October 1999 ⏤ for those of you who aren't good at math like me, I'm 24-year-old now) and raised in São Luís - Maranhão, located in the Northeast of Brazil, but since 2019 I live and work in São Paulo - São Paulo, located in the Southeast (it is approximately 3000 km from my hometown).
Well, since I started my career seven years ago I've been lucky enough to work with amazing people, and create cool things with them for global, regional and local brands at ad agencies like AlmapBBDO, Africa Creative DDB, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Energy BBDO and Phocus.
Also, in 2021 I had the pleasure to won the Gold in the Cannes Young Lions Live Award, and in 2019, I was selected by NGO Papel & Caneta as one of 30 voices who fought to change the communication industry.
As you can see I'm terrible writing about myself, but we can talk about a lot of things (while we have a coffee, a beer or just a water) like design (in all its forms), entertainment (any kind of thing, including the weirds), sports (especially boxing and basketball), music, cinema, games, animes, mangas (all these nerd things you know), random stuffs (including if you find me in a Twitch chat) and in short: everything about any kind of thing.
