To expose how outdated this reality is, the Health section of Folha de S.Paulo was reimagined as a medieval-style newspaper — with archaic language, period-inspired layout, and rustic printing. A publication that looks like it belongs to the past, yet reports stories that remain painfully current. Every detail, from the graphic research to the handcrafted production, reinforces the idea that Brazil is still centuries behind when it comes to sanitation.
The project gained even more relevance when it was taken to COP30, where it sparked conversations, drew attention from international delegations, and helped bring sanitation back into the environmental spotlight.
